Terms of use

Every story is free to listen to in full. There is no account, no password, and nothing held back for people who pay. If that ever changes it will not change quietly.

The stories are for your own listening. Please do not re-upload them elsewhere, or use them in anything you publish or sell, without asking us first — we usually say yes.

The recordings, the artwork and the original stories belong to Laverty Prod. Limited. Stories marked Classic are adaptations of works long out of copyright; the original texts belong to nobody, but our recordings of them are ours.

Support is voluntary and unlocks nothing — it does not remove advertising, grant early access, or open anything closed, because nothing here is closed.

Monthly support can be cancelled at any time and stops at the end of the period already paid for. We do not refund past months as a matter of course, but write to us if something has gone wrong and we will sort it out.

Anyone can comment using a name of their choosing. The first comment from someone new is read before it appears; after that they appear straight away.

We remove comments that:

• abuse, threaten or demean anyone;
• are advertising, or exist to carry a link;
• publish someone else’s private information;
• impersonate another person;
• give away the ending of a story without warning.

We may remove a comment without notice, and stop accepting them from someone who does this repeatedly. What you write stays yours; posting it here gives us permission to show it on the page.

We keep the site running as best we can, but cannot promise it will always be available. Stories may be added, changed or withdrawn.

These terms are governed by Irish law, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction over any dispute.
